Have a veterinary care-related question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • Do you take CareCredit or offer billing options?

No, we do not. Since we do everything possible to keep our costs down, everyone gets to pay their bill at the time of service. We do take credit cards, checks, and, of course, cash. You will get a receipt and we keep the records.

We believe in the old saying, "You have to make money off your friends because your enemies will not give you a dime." When you're in need of a caring, attentive veterinary service in Jensen Beach, FL, we encourage you to look locally. Choose Atlantic Animal Clinic!

  • How long do you keep my pets in the hospital after surgery?

We have always felt that a pet feels the most comfortable and happy when they are at home. Sitting in a cage for a day or more often makes them very depressed, which can reduce the body's natural recovery processes. We will send them home as soon as possible with a treatment plan that you can hopefully provide.

Most pets that come in for dental cleaning, neutering, or spaying appointments come in at eight in the morning and go home at noon. For the dependable veterinary service Jensen Beach, FL trusts, turn to the team at Atlantic Animal Clinic.

  • Do you have vaccination clinics?

Yes, we do! For the last 20 years, we have held vaccination clinics for the general public on the third Saturday of every month. We ask that you call to make a reservation that day because it can be very busy and we try to keep the pandemonium to a minimum.

A one-year rabies vaccine is five dollars, so come in and protect your pet. No one in the Tri-County area has an excuse not to vaccinate their pet against this deadly disease. We seem to have at least one case of rabies in our animal patients every year. This disease is real, so stop by our veterinary service in Jensen Beach, FL to get your furry friend vaccinated!

  • Do you do veterinary knee surgeries?

Yes, we offer veterinary knee surgeries at our practice. We also offer quite a few other orthopedic surgeries.

The most common surgery we do involves damage to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). The recovery time from ACL surgery is usually about three to four weeks but has been as short as seven days. If your pet needs a knee or ACL procedure, choose the veterinary service Jensen Beach, FL depends on. Turn to Atlantic Animal Clinic.

  • Do you offer holistic alternatives?

Yes, we offer plenty of holistic care options. Our practice has been doing animal acupuncture for 30 years. In fact, Dr. William Inman, the one who developed the technique and teaches it to veterinarians all over the world, is a personal friend of our staff!

In addition to our acupuncture services, we also carry vitamins and other holistic supplements for various conditions. Are you looking to learn more about holistic veterinary care? Call our veterinary service in Jensen Beach, FL today.

  • Will you explain what you think my pet's problem is?

Here at Atlantic Animal Clinic, we work on a case-by-case basis. Realistically, we prefer treating every pet's problems individually. Forcing us to only use something that you read about online is tying our hands and may be of no benefit to your pet in the long run.

After providing veterinary care for six days a week for 40 years, our ability to come up with a diagnostic or treatment plan on the same day is the normal protocol here. We focus on spending time with you and your pet so that you come away with a better understanding of what may be wrong. As the veterinary service Jensen Beach, FL depends on, we always aim to create realistic, affordable, and accurate treatment options.
